Fulton Bookkeeping exists to empower ambitious entrepreneurs through financial confidence and clarity.
My purpose is to bridge the gap I’ve seen for so many business owners, providing a judgment-free environment where entrepreneurs can gain a strong understanding of their books and learn to leverage their financial data effectively.

Meet Sarah H. Fulton, Owner
Growing up, I always had a love for counting the coins in my mom’s purse and being the banker in Monopoly, but I’ve also been passionate about helping people.
For years, I wanted to be a family counselor. I loved the idea of helping people truly understand what they were struggling with. But something always felt missing with that path... it didn't have the organization, structure, and numbers that made me so happy.
Then in high school, I discovered accounting and it was love at first sight. After earning my accounting degree from Louisiana State University in 2019 and gaining experience as a bookkeeper, auditor, and corporate accountant, I knew it was time to go out on my own.
I wanted to combine my love of helping others with my love of numbers by becoming a bookkeeper for small business owners. I knew I could make a real difference in my clients' lives, not just by helping them understand their finances, but by helping them finally feel confident in them.
To me, accounting is more than just math and numbers. It’s a giant puzzle. It’s analyzing data and making decisions based on that data; it’s turning chaos into beauty, as a mentor of mine once said. The pieces are all there, you just need to figure out where they go.
Now, with 8 years of accounting experience, I’m helping small business owners through my passion of numbers, finances, and accounting all over the US!
A little about me personally: My husband and I reside in Louisiana with our dog and 2 cats, and in my free time you can find me reading, gardening, painting, sewing, or cooking!

If a client refers you and you sign on with me, you receive $100 off your first month of bookkeeping. And the client who referred you ALSO gets $100 off your first month of bookkeeping! So both of you get $100 off with no limit to how many businesses a client can refer.

Schedule a discovery call
You’ll receive a proposal & contract.
Once that’s signed, you’ll receive your first invoice, list of all items I will need all along with the software I’ll need access to, and a questionnaire
Once that is done, I’ll start your books!

I have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University, along with 8 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience combined!

I’m always flexible with my clients, so I don’t require monthly calls unless it’s what you would prefer. But I will more than likely have questions about your transactions every month, so I’ll shoot you an email about those. You will also receive a monthly profit and loss review from me, and if ever you have any questions we can always schedule a call to talk!

I don’t offer tax services, but I have a CPA that I recommend to clients who are looking for someone to do their taxes.

I mainly use and recommend Quickbooks for accounting software.
